David A. Simon

Grew up in Southern California and Utah before going to Boston University to study Physics and Math. Went on to the University of Oxford where I did my Masters and DPhil in Astrophysics. During my DPhil I spent time at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Munich and Tsinghua University in Beijing. Now a postdoc at Westlake University in Hangzhou.

My research focuses on the application of Integral Field Spectroscopy to Galaxy Dynamics. My interests are in Supermassive Blackholes, Galactic Kinematics, and Machine Learning. I’m happy to receive email.
